The short version
- Use the site lawfully, and don’t misuse it.
- If you send us an idea, it isn’t confidential unless we’ve both signed an agreement that says it is. We may already be working on something similar.
- Syndicate is a holding company, not a fund. Nothing on this site is an offer to invest or to raise money.
- Results we describe are past results, not guarantees.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of stusyn.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Syndicate Holdings Group LLC (“Syndicate,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Services we provide to clients, such as consultations or marketing services, may be covered by separate agreements or booking terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the separate terms apply to that service.
2. Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- send false information, impersonate anyone, or apply for a job on someone else’s behalf without permission;
- upload viruses, malicious code or files you don’t have the right to share;
- try to access areas you aren’t authorized to use, including the admin dashboard, or interfere with the Site’s security;
- scrape the Site, send spam, or overload it with automated requests.
3. Ideas you send us
We invite people to “bring us an idea.” Because we help bring ideas to life and run brands of our own, we hear many ideas, and we often work on similar concepts ourselves. So that everyone is clear:
- No confidentiality by default. Ideas, pitches and other materials you send through the Site or by email aren’t treated as confidential or proprietary, unless we’ve both signed a written confidentiality agreement first.
- No obligation. Sending an idea doesn’t create a partnership, employment, investment, or any other relationship or obligation. That includes any obligation to review, respond to, develop or pay for it.
- Independent work. We may already have developed, or may later develop, ideas similar to yours on our own. Getting your idea doesn’t limit our right to do so.
- Don’t send secrets. If an idea is sensitive, send us a short, non-confidential summary first and ask about a confidentiality agreement.
Any partnership with Syndicate will be set out in a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
4. Not an investment offer
Syndicate is a holding company for its own brands. We don’t offer capital, manage funds or solicit investments. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or investment.
5. Results and statements
Figures we share, such as GMV driven by Creator Ops Media, describe past results for specific brand partners. Results depend on many factors, including product, pricing, market conditions and platform policies. Past results don’t guarantee future results, and nothing on the Site is a promise of any particular outcome.
6. Consultations
Creator Ops Media offers 1:1 consultations with Grady Davis. The current rate is $150 per hour. Sessions are booked and paid online through Stripe when you book, and your confirmation email shows the time, length and price and includes a link to reschedule or cancel. Rates may change, but the rate paid for a booked session won’t.
Consultations are general business guidance about TikTok Shop and social commerce. They aren’t legal, tax, financial or accounting advice. TikTok’s features and policies change often, and results depend on your products, team and execution. You’re responsible for decisions you make based on a session.
7. One-page website orders
Syndicate Marketing sells a one-page website for a fixed price of $350, along with other website, ads and analytics packages. Orders are placed and paid on the Syndicate Marketing website, syndicatemarketing.co, and are also covered by its terms of sale. For one-page website orders:
- Payment: you pay the full price up front through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Work starts after your payment is confirmed.
- What’s included: design and build of one web page, a contact or quote form, basic search engine setup, Syndicate Site Stats, and two rounds of changes to the first draft. Extra pages, online stores, logins, copywriting beyond the page itself, and changes after launch are quoted separately.
- Not included: your domain name, hosting and any paid third-party tools. These are in your name and paid by you. If you add the domain, hosting & email setup option on syndicatemarketing.co, we set them up for you.
- Your part: timelines depend on getting your logo, photos and business details. If we can’t reach you or don’t receive what we need for 60 days, we may close the project; you can restart it within a year.
- Ownership: once the site is paid for and launched, the finished page, the text we wrote for it and your domain are yours. We may show the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
- Refunds: if you change your mind before your kickoff (your kickoff call, or sending your kickoff form if you skip the call), email us and we’ll refund you in full. Once work has started, refunds are at our discretion based on the work completed.
8. Our content and trademarks
The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and code, are owned by Syndicate or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Site for personal or internal business use, but you may not copy, modify or distribute its content without our written permission.
“Syndicate,” “Syndicate Holdings Group,” “Creator Ops Media” and “Syndicate Marketing” are names and marks of Syndicate. Other names, such as the platforms we work on and the brands we’ve worked for, belong to their respective owners. They’re mentioned only to describe our work, and their use doesn’t imply endorsement.
Syndicate is an independent company. It isn’t owned by, affiliated with or endorsed by any platform we work on, and doesn’t act on behalf of one.
9. Applications and messages
When you send a message or job application, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee an interview or a job offer. Job listings describe roles as we understand them at the time, and we may change or close them at any time.
10. Links to other sites
The Site may link to sites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices.
11. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syndicate and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Syndicate from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
