The short version
- We collect what you send us (contact messages and job applications) and basic technical data needed to run the site.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.
- We count visits with our own privacy-friendly analytics. It uses no cookies, doesn’t store your IP address, and can’t identify you. We don’t use ad pixels or third-party trackers.
- We delete contact messages and applications automatically after 2 years, or sooner if you ask.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@stusyn.com.
1. Who we are
This policy covers stusyn.com, which is operated by Syndicate Holdings Group LLC (“Syndicate,” “we,” “us”), a holding company founded in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It also covers our brands Creator Ops Media and Syndicate Marketing when you contact them, request a consultation or apply to them through this site.
This policy doesn’t cover services we provide to clients under a separate contract, or other websites we link to.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form and consultation requests: your name, email, company (optional), the topic you pick and your message.
- Job applications: your name, email, phone, city and state, LinkedIn and portfolio links, resume, written answers, whether you’re authorized to work in the US, and how you heard about us. Our Applicant Privacy Notice has more detail.
- Website orders: your name, email, phone (optional), business name and the project details you enter on the order form. Payment is handled by Stripe, which collects your card or wallet details directly under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the payment and your email, but never your full card number.
- Emails: anything you send us directly by email.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
- Spam and abuse protection: when you submit a form, we store a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to 24 hours to stop spam and repeated sign-in attempts. We can’t turn it back into your IP address.
- Cookies and local storage: we use a small number of strictly necessary cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains each one.
- Site analytics: we run our own analytics, hosted by us at crm.stusyn.com, to see which pages are visited, how people find the site (for example a search engine, a social network or an ad), the type of device and browser, the approximate city or region based on your IP address, how long pages are read, how fast they load, and actions like clicking a phone number, sending a form or downloading a file. It doesn’t use cookies or store anything on your device. Your IP address is used only for a moment to count unique visitors with a code that changes every day and to look up an approximate location; the IP address itself is never stored. We never record what you type into forms. Stats are kept for about two years. You can turn analytics off with , and it stays off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
We don’t use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers or session recording, and we don’t share analytics with anyone. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the site doesn’t send your information to font providers.
3. How we use information
- To reply to your messages and route them to the right Syndicate company.
- To manage our relationship with clients and leads, including scheduling consultations and sending invoices.
- To review job applications, contact candidates and make hiring decisions.
- To send emails you’d expect, like a confirmation that we received your application.
- To operate, maintain and secure the site, including preventing spam and fraud.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
We don’t sell personal information, “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to make decisions about you by fully automated means. People review every application.
5. How long we keep information
- Contact messages and job applications (including resumes) are deleted automatically 2 years after you submit them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner, or a longer period is required by law. For a hire, information becomes part of their employment records.
- Client and lead records: if you contact us about working together, we copy your name, contact details and message into our private customer records so we can follow up. We keep those records while we’re in touch or working together, and invoices and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require (generally up to 7 years). You can ask us to delete anything that isn’t legally required.
- Hashed IP addresses used for spam protection are deleted after 24 hours.
- Server logs are kept by our hosting provider according to its own retention schedule, which is typically a few weeks.
6. How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. Examples include encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage for resumes that can’t be reached from the web, hashed passwords and rate limits on our hiring dashboard, and access limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct information that’s inaccurate.
- Delete your information, including a job application and resume.
- Opt out of any future marketing emails. We don’t send marketing emails today.
To make a request, email hello@stusyn.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address you used with us. We aim to respond within 45 days. You can also use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof that they act for you. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
State privacy rights
Residents of some US states, such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Oregon, have specific rights under state privacy laws. These can include the rights above, the right to know which categories of information we collect and why, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don’t sell or share personal information, so there’s nothing to opt out of, but we honor these rights whether or not a particular law applies to us. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line, and we’ll respond within 45 days.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and keep all optional cookies off. We don’t respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals, because we don’t track you across sites.
8. Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Visitors outside the US
We’re based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the US. If you contact us from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll make it clear on the site.
